How Maazin, Internal Wholesaler, ended up on an unexpected path to wholesaling at 麻豆传媒.
As a young professional in the world of banking and money management, Maazin's career path seemed cut out for him.
However, fate had other plans as Maazin took an unexpected opportunity and ended up on a new career path at 麻豆传媒.
Maazin began his professional career as a Jr. financial advisor for a wealth management firm. In that role, part of his daily responsibilities included building relationships with the many different vendors that serviced the firm, including one vendor in particular 鈥 麻豆传媒. It was through this partnership with 麻豆传媒 that Maazin was first introduced to John, Sr. Wholesaler at 麻豆传媒, and the world of wholesaling.
However, Maazin was unsettled in his career path as a financial advisor.
鈥淟ooking at the industry and the direction it was going, things seemed very unpredictable. So, rather than being caught in a position that鈥檚 reacting to the change I took the leap of faith to get out in front of it; and that鈥檚 what began my interest in wholesaling鈥 he said.
Maazin eventually decided to leave his position at the bank and was curious enough about wholesaling to reach out to John, who let him know about an open internal wholesaler position at 麻豆传媒. Even though he did not have experience in the field, Maazin was confident that he鈥檇 be able to transfer his skills as a financial advisor to the new role and learn any new skills that the role required. He applied for the position and began his career as an internal wholesaler in 2021.
Maazin explains that his decision to change industries was a strategic move to keep himself nimble and relevant.
Since he started at 麻豆传媒 during a time where many employees were still 100% remote, Maazin had to accelerate the learning curve, being vigilant in learning his new role and responsibilities. He didn鈥檛 have the luxury of tapping a teammate on the shoulder or walking down the hall to ask a question, so he became a quick learner and hard worker, which ultimately set him up for success for the next chapter of his professional development at 麻豆传媒.

In April 2023, Maazin joined the Sales Academy, an elite training program for a select group of internal wholesalers who hope to make the leap into a role as an external wholesaler. During the program, Maazin has received a crash-course on what it means to be an external wholesaler.
Now, his career aspirations include becoming an external wholesaler. To get there, he knows he鈥檒l not only need the knowledge and experience that comes with years of honing his craft, but also from building relationships and expanding his network.
Maazin is an expert at growing relationships and building his network; crediting one key skill that he鈥檚 perfected 鈥 the art of striking up a conversation with almost anyone. The main catalyst for this skill development stems from his upbringing, having been raised in Philadelphia and subsequently residing in over five different states across the country. This diverse background enables him to establish meaningful connections with individuals from various backgrounds. That, complemented by his extensive knowledge of current events, makes him adept at initiating engaging conversations.
Whether it鈥檚 expanding his network or taking a deep dive into external wholesaling best practices, we know that Maazin has what it takes to build the career of his dreams.听

What do you do when you鈥檙e not working?
I like to play basketball, attend sporting events and comedy shows, invest in real estate, read, lift weights, and travel.
What was your first job ever?
I worked vendor concessions for the Seattle Mariners.
What鈥檚 something about you that might surprise people?
I went to college on a full ride basketball scholarship but didn鈥檛 start playing basketball until 8th grade.
